Sweet dreams: four things you can do so you can rest easily

Everyone wants to have sweet dreams and not fear or disturbing. But since dreams are a function of your subconscious, how can you be sure to have sweet dreams instead of ugly ones? You can never be 100% sure of having good dreams, but having a set routine for sleep that helps you relax and calm down is a good way to sleep better and, hopefully, have pleasant dreams.

What kind of things can you do at bedtime to get rid of stress and calm down? There are many relaxing and relaxing rituals that can make you feel much calmer. Try some of these activities before bedtime and see if your dreams become sweeter:

  1. A hot bath: nothing is so relaxing or soothing as a hot bath. Read an inspiring book while soaking or just soak and relax. Use a little herbal bath tea to improve relaxation.
  2. Meditate: It has been proven to meditate regularly to significantly reduce stress levels and help you sleep better. If you start meditating regularly at bedtime, you will sleep better and more deeply, and that will give you sweeter dreams.
  3. Take a cup of tea: even a cup of tea can be a relaxing ritual if you do it right. Have a special cup that you use only for tea time. Buy yourself a beautiful, expensive, handmade cup to make it more special. Then, find some exotic herbal tea blends that look delicious and will be very relaxing. Artisan teas are easy to find and are an affordable luxury for every day.
  4. Write in a “gratitude journal”: some experts say that being grateful for the small gifts we receive every day can result in a more peaceful and focused life. Take a few minutes each night before going to bed to write down everything you thanked that day. No matter how busy the day has been, if you can find three things during the day that you thanked, you will go to bed much more relaxed and focused, and your dreams should reflect that inner peace.

Then, about an hour before going to bed, meditate, take your hot bath, drink that cup of tea and then sit in your comfortable chair next to the bed and write in your gratitude journal. Now that you feel relaxed, it would be a good time to sprinkle some lovely aromatic scents in your room. By adding soothing scents to your room, you are training your body to relax, so that you fall asleep faster.

Does not it sound great? Now pull the sheets and blankets over your body and have sweet dreams. Goodnight.
