Most cities will offer free tickets to their local plays and movies and will offer them at the local city park. This is both entertaining and romantic. You can prepare a picnic with snacks and bring a large blanket to lie on.

Go on a romantic boat ride

If you have a small radio, do not be shy. Bring it with you. Just make sure you do not play too loud, since others may be fishing.
